Relay playback

Multiple CD-500 and CD-500B units can be used together and set so that when playback ends on one unit, playback can automatically start on another unit.

To do this, connect the CONTROL I/O START (RELAY IN) connector on the rear panel of the CD-500/CD-500B to the CONTROL I/O DISC EOM (RELAY OUT) on another CD-500/CD-500B with a cable and enable relay playback mode on both units.

To enable relay playback mode, set the 06 RELAY menu item to ON.

By connecting two CD-500/CD-500B units in both directions as shown in illustration below, alternating playback between them is possible.
