ASTANDBY/ON

Use this button to turn the unit on or standby.

The equipment draws a nominal amount of power from the AC outlet even with its STANDBY/ON switch in the STANDBY position.

BRemote Sensor

When operating the remote control unit, point it towards here.

CDIMMER

Use this button to dim the display.

DDisplay

EMULTI JOG/TUNING

In AM or FM mode, turn this knob to tune in a station.

This knob is also used to adjust the time, change timer settings, etc.

FTIMER

Use this button to turn on or off the timer function.

GTIMER SET/CLOCK ADJ

Use this button together with the MULTI JOG knob to set the timer or to adjust the clock.

HVOLUME

Use these buttons to adjust the volume level.

ISLEEP

Use this button to set sleep timer.

JFUNCTION

Use this button to select FM, AM or AUX mode.

When a component is connected to the AUX IN jack, select AUX to listen to the external source.

KSpeakers (stereo)

The speakers are very fragile.

Do not press the surface. Do not hold the R-X1 by the speakers.

LFM MODE

In FM TUNER mode, use this button to select stereo or monaural.

MNumeric buttons

Use these buttons to select a preset channel.

NRDS MODE

In FM TUNER mode, use this button to select an RDS mode.

OMEMORY

Use this button to store preset channels into memory.

PMUTING

Use this button to mute the sound.

QTONE

Use this button and the VOLUME buttons to adjust the level of high and low frequency information.
