Listening to FM/AM

1Select AM or FM by pressing the BAND button.
2Select the desired tuning mode by pressing the ENTER button.
Each time the ENTER button is pressed, the tuning mode changes as follows:
Manual tune 
Auto tune
Preset tune
3Select the station you want to listen to.
Manual tuning mode
Turn the TUNING/SELECT knob until the station you want to listen to is found.
The frequency changes by a fixed step (FM: 50 kHz steps,
AM: 9 kHz steps).
Auto tuning mode
Turn the TUNING/SELECT knob slightly to begin auto tuning. When a station is found, the tuning process stops automatically.
<Press the ENTER button to stop the auto tuning.
FUNCTION/FM MODE Button
Pressing this button alternates between Stereo mode and Mono mode.
Stereo:
FM stereo broadcasts are received in stereo and the ‘STEREO’ is displayed.
Mono:
To compensate for weak FM stereo reception, select this mode. Reception will now be forced monaural, reducing unwanted noise.
