PREVENTING

DOMESTIC ACCIDENTS

For children, even minor burning or scalding can sometimes be serious.

As they grow, teach your children to be extremely careful where there are hot liquids to be found in the kitchen. Place the teapot and its power cord well to the back of the work area, out of reach of children.

In the event of an accident, cool the burn or scald under cold running water immediately and call a doctor if necessary.

To avoid accidents, do not carry your child or baby when you are drinking or carrying a hot drink.
