•For your safety, this appliance conforms to the applicable standards and regulations(Low Voltage,ElectomagneticCompatibility, EnvironmentalDirectives,as applicable...).
•Your steam generatoris an electricalappliance:it mustbe usedin normal conditions of use.It is only designed fordomesticuse.
•Your generator is fittedwith2 safetysystems:
-a pressure release valvewhich, in the event of a malfunction, releasesany excesssteam;
-a thermal fuseto prevent the appliance from overheating.
•Always plug in your steam generator:
-an electricalinstalation withvoltage between220Vand240V.
-an earthed socket.
Connectingto thewrong voltage maycauseirreparabledamageto theappliance and will invalidateyourguarantee. If you are usinga mainsextensionlead,ensurethat it is correctly rated (10A)withan earth,andis fullyextended.
•Completely unwindthe powercord fromits storagespacebefore connecting to an earthed socket.

•Do not unplug the appliance bypulling on the cord. Always unplug your appliance:
-before fillingthe water tank or rinsing the collector,
-before cleaningyourgenerator,
-aftereachuse.
•Theappliancemustbeusedand placedona
•Thisapplianceisnot intendedforuse by persons(includingchildren)withreducedphysical,sensoryormental capabilities,orlackof experience and knowledge, unless they have been givensupervisionor instructionconcerninguse of the appliance by a person responsible fortheirsafety.
•Children should be supervisedto ensurethattheydo notplaywiththeappliance.
•Never leavethe appliance unattended :
-whenit is connectedto the mains,
-until it hascooled down (around1 hour).
•Thesoleplateandgenerator
•Yourappliancegives off steamwhich cancauseburns.Handleyourironcarefully,particularly whenusing theverticalsteamfunction. Neverdirectthe steamtowards persons or animals.
•Alwayswait before rinsing the collector until the steamgeneratorhas cooled down and has beenunplugged forat least 2 hours before unscrewing the collector.
•While rinsingout theboiler,neverfillit directlyunderthetap.
•If you loseor damage the boilerrinse cap,haveit replaced byan approved Service Centre.
•Do not immerse your steamgenerator in wateror any otherliquid. Do not rinse it under a running tap.
•The appliance must not be usedif it has fallento the floor, shows evidence of damage,leaksor failsto function correctly.Never dismantle yourappliance.To avoid any danger,haveit inspectedin an approved service centre.
•This appliance has been designed for domesticuse only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use or failureto complywith the instructions,the manufactureracceptsno responsibilityandtheguarantee willnotapply.
