Before attempting to rinse the boiler of your generator, it is essential to leave it to cool for at least 2 hours in order to avoid any risk of scalding.

Iftheorange“boilerrinse”lightflashes,youcancontinueironingnormallybut remember to rinse the boiler first, the next time that you use it.

1. Check that the generator is cold and unplugged.	16
2.Placeyoursteamgeneratorontheedgeofyoursink,withtheirontooneside,

standingonitsheel.
3.Unscrewthecordclipbyturningaquarterturntotheleft(16).
4.Usingacoin,gentlyunscrewtheboilerrinseplug(17).
5.Placetheplasticnozzle 1 oftherinsingpipeintotheholeoftheboilerand
turngentlytotherightuntilitlocks.Theoutletofthisnozzlemustbepositioned
overthesink(18).	17	18
6.Connecttherubberend 2 oftherinsingpipetoacoldtap(19).
7.Turnthetapongentlyandgraduallyandletcoldwaterrunthrough
therinsingpipeintothesinkforabout1minute(20).
8.Switchoffthetapandremovetherinsingpipe.
9. Screw back and tighten up the boiler rinse plug with a coin.
10. Put the cord clip back in place.
11. The next time you use the generator, hold down the

1I. TO RINSE THE BOILER WITHOUT THE RINSING ACCESSORY
Before attempting to rinse the boiler of your generator, it is essential to leave it

2.Placeyoursteamgeneratorontheedgeofyoursink,withtheirontooneside,standingonitsheel. 3.Unscrewthecordclipbyturningaquarterturntotheleft. 4.Usingacoin,gentlyunscrewtheboilerrinseplug. 5.Holdingyoursteamgeneratorinatiltedposition,andusingajug,filltheboiler(inthebaseunit)with

1/4litreoftapwater.

6.Shakethebaseunitforafewmomentsandthenemptyitcompletelyoveryoursink.

To obtain the best result, we recommend that this operation is done twice. 7. Screw back and tighten up the boiler rinse plug with a coin.

8. Put the cord clip back in place.

9. The next time you use the generator, hold down the “restart” button to turn off the orange light.
