1.Tocarryyoursteamgeneratorbytheironhandle:

-placetheironontheironrestofthegeneratorandraisetheretaininghoopovertheironuntilitlocksintoplace (audibleclick)(1).

-graspthehandleoftheirontocarryyoursteamgenerator(2).

2.Placeyoursteamgeneratoronastable,horizontalheat-resistantsurface.

3.Graspthehandlesoftheremovabletankandpullhorizontallytoremoveit(3).

4.Fillupthewatertanktakingcarenottoexceedthemaximumleveljustbelowthefillercover(4).

5.Replaceitfirmly initshousing,makingsureitisfullyintoplace(5).

The water to use in your steam generator :

Yourironhasbeendesignedtooperateusinguntreatedtapwater.

•Heatconcentratestheelementscontainedinwaterduringevaporation.Thetypesofwaterlistedbelow containorganicwasteormineralelementsthatcancausespitting,brownstainingorprematurewearofthe appliance:waterfromclothesdryers,scentedorsoftenedwater,waterfromrefrigerators,batteriesorair conditioners,puredistilledordemineralisedwaterorrainwatershouldnotbeusedinyouriron.Alsodonot useboiled,filteredorbottledwater.

If your water is very hard mix 50% untreated tap water and 50% distilled or demineralised water.
