•Make sure that the cooking programme selector
(F)is in the 
position and the pressure indicator
(D)is lowered.
•Move the lid open/close handle (E) from the horizontal to the vertical position (the jaws open)

•Lift the lid.
During opening/clo- sing operations, the control module must be in place on the lid.
Make sure the jaws of the lid are properly closed below the rim of the pan.
•Make sure the handle is in a vertical position and the jaws are open.
•Place the lid vertically on the pan, making sure it is positioned correctly.
•Move the open/close handle from the vertical to the horizontal position - Fig. 2.
•Apply a little force at the end when closing to trigger the locking mechanism.
•Once in the closed position, it is normal that the lid can turn freely on the pan.
If you cannot close the lid:
•Check that the open/close handle is in the vertical position.
•Check that the jaws are opened.
•Check that the seal is in place properly.
