•Remove any packaging, stickers or accessories inside or on the outside of the appliance.
•On first use, prime the cooking plates by wiping over them with a cloth dipped in a little cooking oil. Wipe off any excess oil using an absorbent kitchen towel.
•Check the appliance is cool and unplugged before changing the plates.

•To put the plates back in position : position the plate at an angle and press on the plate to lock it into place - (3)
Connection and pre-heating
• Close the appliance.
• Plug the cord in the wall socket: the red light comes on - (4)
• Check that your electric supply is compatible with the power and the voltage indicated under the appliance.
•Plug the appliance into a wall socket with an earth connection.
•If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
