The toaster must always be used in the upright position, never on its side or tilted forwards or backwards.

• Regularly remove the crumbs.

The bread control lever must be in the "Up" position before plugging in or unplugging the appliance.

Unplug the appliance if it shows any working abnormalities.

Unplug from the power socket when not in use during and before cleaning. Allow to cool down before cleaning or storing.

To unplug remove the plug from the wall socket (when the toasting cycle is finished).

If the bread jams in the slots after toasting and the elements do not switch off, unplug the plug immediately and wait for the appliance to cool before attempting to remove the bread.

Use on a flat, stable heat-resistant work surface, away from any contact with water and never use underneath a built in kitchen alcove.

DO NOT:

Do not place food directly on the heating elements. Always use the tray or rack provided

Do not let the appliance operate unattended, particularly when toasting for the first time or when settings have been changed.

Do not store the cord or the plug between the slots in the appliance.

Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the cord.

Do not move or carry the appliance during use.

Your grill-toaster is not designed to be built-in. Use on a flat, stable, heat resistant surface, away from any contact with water and never use underneath ,a built-in kitchen alcove.

We recommend that when using for the first time, you turn your grill on with the grill-toaster empty (without grate) for around 10 minutes.

Do not leave the appliance within the reach of children.

Do not use outdoors. Avoid humid environments.

Do not use the appliance for any other use other than that for which it was designed.

Do not touch the metal parts or hot surfaces of the appliance when it is working.

Oversized foods, metal foil packages, or utensils (spoon, knife, etc.) must not be inserted into a toaster as they may cause an electric shock or fire.

Do not use accessory attachments that are not recommended by the manufacturer as this may be dangerous.

To protect yourself against an electrical shock do not immerse the cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquids.

Do not place the appliance close to a heat source. Do not put it on the top of another appliance.

The lower heating elements do not need to get red to heat perfectly.

This electrical appliance works at high temperatures. We recommend that you don’t keep your

fingers for any length of time either on the glass or metal parts of the appliance.

• The temperature of the door may be high when the appliance is in operation.

• Use the handles and knobs. Use oven gloves when necessary.

Be careful when opening the grill’s door: any sudden shock or excessive heat may cause the glass to break. The door is made of tempered glass to prevent any risk of glass being projected and consequently any danger for the user.

Do not keep flammable products close to or under the unit where the appliance is placed.

Do not operate the appliance under a wall unit, shelf, or close to flammable materials such as blinds, curtains, drapes, etc…

Do not put any aluminium foil either under the appliance to protect the work surface, or between the heating elements or in contact with the inside walls or the heaters as this may cause serious damage to the grill and may damage the work surface too.

Do not put anything into the air vents, or obstruct them.

• Do not place any sugar coated type of bread in the toaster or anything that may melt or drop
