9.7. CALIBRATION OF OPTIONAL SENSORS
This section provides the calibration setup and procedures for the O2 Sensor and the CO2
Sensor options. Refer to any addenda accompanying this manual for custom
configuration information.

9.7.1. O2 SENSOR CALIBRATION

Presented here are first the setup and then the calibration steps for the O2 Sensor.
9.7.1.1. O2 PNEUMATICS CONNECTIONS
The pneumatic connections for calibrating are as follows:
Figure 9-7: O2 Sensor Calibration Set Up
O2 SENSOR ZERO GAS: TAI recommends using pure N2 when calibration the zero
point of your O2 sensor option.
O2 SENSOR SPAN GAS: TAI recommends using 20.8% O2 in N2 when calibration the
span point of your O2 sensor option (See Table 3-12).
9.7.1.2. SET O2 SPAN GAS CONCENTRATION
Set the expected O2 span gas concentration.
This should be equal to the percent concentration of the O2 span gas of the selected
reporting range (default factory setting = 20.8%; the approximate O2 content of ambient
air).
