3 cont. Caulk sill bottom.
Note: Do not caulk the bottom of the sill if you are using a sill pan.
Lay door unit on edge or face so that bottom side of sill can be caulked. Place very large beads of caulk across full width of sill. Additionally, place “Elastomeric or Polyurethane caulk” along the junction of the sill and jamb and on the bottom surface of the jambs and brickmold.

Note:
If sill extender is used, place a large bead of caulk at the junction of the extender and the sill approach.
Important!
Apply sealant to back side of brickmould around perimeter of the door. A 1/2”- 5/8” bead of “Elastomeric or Polyurethane caulk” is essential.

Apoye la puerta sobre un borde o sobre una superficie para poder enmasillar la parte inferior del umbral. Aplique una gran cantidad de masilla a todo lo ancho del umbral. Aplique tembien masilla a lo largo de la union con el marco y en la superficie inferior de los marcos y molduras.
