Phone Setup Options

Auto Keyguard

Allows you to set the keyguard. Keyguard setting applies to slide closed position only.

1.Press > Settings/Tools > Settings > Keyguard. (An information window is displayed.)

2.Read the information and press CONTINUE (left softkey).

3.Press ON or OFF (left softkey).

CallAnswerMode

Select how to answer incoming calls on your phone:

whether you want to be required to press , to press any number key, or simply slide the phone open.

1.Press > Settings/Tools > Settings > More... > Call Setup > CallAnswer.

2.Highlight an option and press .

■Slide Up to answer a call just by sliding the phone open.

■Any Key to allow you to press any key on the dialpad to answer a call.

■TALKOnly to require you to press to answer all calls.

Auto-AnswerMode

Set your phone to automatically pick up incoming calls when connected to an optional hands-free car kit.

1.Press > Settings/Tools > Settings > More... > Call Setup >Auto-Answer.

2.Highlight an option and press .

■Off to disable Auto-Answer.

■Headset to answer calls automatically when the phone is connected to a headset (sold separately). Remember, your phone will answer calls in Auto-Answer mode even if you are not present.
