When you connect the device, the following should occur:

The USB modem is powered as soon as you connect it to the computer’s USB port.

The LED indicator on the device lights up, blinks, and turns solid green.

The Sprint Connection Manager software starts (unless the auto-launch feature has been disabled).

Note:

The Sprint Mobile Broadband USB modem also contains an antenna that can be used for better coverage; this is an integral part of the device. To use this feature, flip open the device's antenna by gently gripping the top right side of the external cover with your forefinger.

Using the External USB Extension Cable

To use the USB cable:

1.Plug one end of the cable into the Sprint Mobile Broadband USB modem.

2.Plug the other end into an available USB port on your computer.

3.The device is powered as soon as the USB extension cable is connected to the appropriate USB port. (The LED indicator on the device will turn green.)

4.Launch Sprint Connection Manager and click Connect.
