9 Anlegen der Manschette

1.Stecken Sie den Manschettenverbindungsschlauch in das Gerät.

2.Entfalten Sie die Armmanschette, lassen Sie dabei das "Index"-Ende der Manschette durch den D-Ring der Manschette gefädelt.

3.Stecken Sie Ihren linken Arm durch die Manschettenschlaufe. Dabei sollte die "OK" Anzeige zu Ihnen zeigen, während der Gummischlauch am Arm entlang von Ihnen weg zeigt. Platzieren Sie das

Arterienzeichen ( ) über der Hauptarterie (auf der Arminnenseite) des Oberarms.

4.Drehen Sie Ihre linke Handfläche nach oben und schieben Sie die Manschette so, dass sich der Rand der Manschette ca. 2 bis 3 cm oberhalb der Innenseite des Ellenbogens befindet. Befestigen Sie die Manschette durch Ziehen am "Index"- Ende der Manschette. Befindet sich die Index-Linie innerhalb des OK-Bereichs, der am Manschettenrand angezeigt wird, ist die Manschette einsatzbereit. Befindet sich die Index-Linie außerhalb des OK- Bereichs, benötigen Sie möglicherweise eine Manschette mit einem anderen Umfang für die Messungen.

5.Entspannen Sie Ihren ganzen Körper, ganz besonders den Bereich zwischen Ellbogen und Fingern. Legen Sie Ihren Arm auf einen Tisch, so dass sich die Manschette auf der gleichen Höhe wie Ihr Herz befindet. Vermeiden Sie ein Zurücklehnen während des Messvorgangs.

Ihr Herz befindet sich etwas tiefer als Ihre Achselhöhle.
