1.Sätt i manschettens anslutningsrör till enheten.

2.Veckla upp manschetten och för den ände på manschetten som är märkt med "Index" genom D-ringen på manchetten.

3.För in vänster arm i manschettloopen. "OK" områdesindikatorn bör placeras närmare dig själv med gummiröret i samma riktning som din arm. Placera

artärmärket ( ) över huvudartären (på insidan av av armen) i överarmen.

4.Vrid din vänstra handflata sätt manschettkanten ca 2 till 3 cm ovanför insidan av armbågen. Spänn manschetten genom att dra i manschettens "Index"-ände. Om Index- linjen kommer inom OK-området, som angetts på kanten av manschetten, passar manschetten dig. Om Index- linjen kommer utanför OK-området, ska du använda en manschett med större armvidd för mätning.

5.Slappna av i hela kroppen, speciellt i området mellan armbågen och fingrarna. Placera armbågen på ett bord så att manschetten är i samma nivå som ditt hjärta. Undvik att luta dig bakåt under tiden som mätningen sker.

Hjärtat är en aning lägre placerat än armhålan.
