9 Påsætning af manchet

1.Sæt røret, der forbinder manchetten, i enheden.

2.Fold manchetten ud og før den ende, der er angivet med "Index" på manchetten gennem D-ringen på manchetten.

3.Stik den venstre arm gennem manchetsløjfen. "OK" områdeindikatoren bør anbringes tættere på dig selv med gummirøret i retning af din arm. Anbring

arteriemærket ( ) over hovedarterien (på indersiden af armen) i overarmen.

4.Drej din venstre håndflade opad og anbring kanten af manchetten ca. 2 til 3 cm over indersiden af albueleddet. Stram manchetten ved at trække i "Index" enden af manchetten. Hvis Index-linjen falder inden for OK området, der er angivet på kanten af manchetten, passer denne manchet til dig. Hvis Index linjen falder uden for OK området, skal du bruge en manchet med et andet omfang til måling.

5.Slap af i hele kroppen, særligt i området mellem albuen og fingrene. Anbring din albue på et bord, således at manchetten er på samme niveau som dit hjerte. Undgå at læne dig tilbage, mens målingerne foretages.
