5.14.1 To Edit or Delete the prefix number:

Press Menu button ÆUse the Right button to scroll to ‘PREFIX’ and press OK Æ Delete the digits by the Mute -key. ÆUse the keypad to enter the new prefix. ÆPress the Menu/OK button to confirm.

When a prefix number is set, all numbers dialed out will be with this prefix!

5.14.2 Temporaly dial out without prefix

Enter the telephone number and press the Line button until the handset icon appears on the display. The number will be dialled out without Prefix Æ Press the Line button when you want to terminate the call.

5.15 Using the alphanumerical keypad

With your telephone you can also enter alphanumeric characters. This is useful for entering a name into the phonebook, giving a name to a hand-set,

To select a letter, press the corresponding key as many times as is necessary. For example to select an ‘A’, press ‘2’ once, to select a ‘B’, press ‘2’ twice and so on. To select ‘A’ and then B consecutively, select ‘A’, wait until the cursor moves on to the next character, then press ‘2’ twice.

To select a space, press 0.
