Optional devices

Optional devices can expand your device’s capabilities and its versatility. This section describes the connection or installation of the following devices:

Cards

■SD card slot

■Secure Digital™ (SD) Card (SD memory card, SDHC memory card, miniSD Card, microSD Card)

SD card slot

The device is equipped with an SD card slot that can accommodate some kinds of memory media with various memory capacities so that you can easily transfer data from devices, such as digital cameras and Personal Digital Assistants.

■ This Bridge media slot supports the following memory media.

■Secure Digital (SD) Card (SD memory card, SDHC memory card, miniSD Card, microSD Card)

■Please note that an adaptor is required to use miniSD/microSD Card.

■Please note that not all memory media have been tested and verified to work correctly. Therefore, it is not possible to guarantee that all memory media will operate properly.

■The slot does not support Magic Gate functions.

Points to note about the SD/SDHC memory card

SD/SDHC memory cards comply with SDMI (Secure Digital Music Initiative), which is a technology adopted to prevent unlawful copy or playback of digital music. For this reason, you cannot copy or playback protected material on another device or other device, and you may not reproduce any copyrighted material except for your personal enjoyment.
