Changing channels

To change to the next programmed channel:

Press CHANNEL ▲/▼ on the TV or CH M/? on the remote control.

To change to a specific analog channel:

Press the Channel Number buttons (0-9) on the remote control. For example, to select channel 125, press 1, 2, 5.

To change to a specific digital channel:

Press the first 3 digits, then press the dash key (100/–), followed by the remaining 3 digits.

For example, to select channel 015-001, press 0, 1, 5, Dash, 0, 0, 1.

Note:

Digital cable channels may be represented by channel numbers that include a “dash” (e.g., 85–002). These digital channel numbers may not match the numbers in the channel line-up provided by your cable company. This is not a malfunction.

Switching between two channels

You can switch between two channels without entering an actual channel number each time.

To switch between two channels:

1.Select the first channel you want to view.

2.Select a second channel using the Channel Number buttons (0-9, 100).

3.Press CH RTN. The previous channel will be displayed.

Each time you press CH RTN, the TV will switch back and forth between the two channels. The CH RTN feature is available for the video input sources also.

Programming your favorite channels

You can preset up to 12 of your favorite channels using the Favorite Channel Programming feature. Because this feature scans through only your favorite channels, it allows you to skip other channels you do not normally watch.

You can still use Channel M/? to scan through all the channels you programmed in the TV’s memory.
