How to replace the lamp unit

Turn off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet.

Allow the lamp to cool for at least 1 hour before replacing it.

On the lamp unit door on the side of the TV, loosen the screw using a manual screwdriver, and then remove the lamp unit door.

Using a manual screwdriver, loosen the two screws on the lamp unit.

Grasp the lamp unit handle and gently pull the lamp unit straight out of the TV. Set the old lamp unit aside.

Remember to wear lint-free gloves when replacing the lamp unit.

Replace the screw and hand-tighten using a manual
screwdriver.
Plug in the power cord and turn on the TV. After the
initial warm up period (which may take several
seconds for full picture brightness), the TV should
now operate normally.	section
If there is no picture, the picture is very dark or the
TV does not turn on, turn it back off and remove the	Reference
power plug from the wall outlet. Repeat steps 1 to 7
to ensure that the lamp unit has been installed
correctly.
Put the old lamp into the now empty lamp unit box
and dispose of it according to local Government
guidelines. Make sure it is out of reach of children
and animals.

Wear soft, lint-free gloves when replacing the lamp unit.
