Changing the display properties setting

2Release the Fn key.

TECHNICAL NOTE: You can also change these settings using

the Display Properties box in the Control Panel.

In order to use a simultaneous mode, you must set the

resolution of the internal display panel to match the resolution

of the external display device.

Enabling different video refresh rates

Your computer has a Trident video chip. To use the built-in

display panel and external video device simultaneously, you

must first enable the different refresh rate option.

1Click Start, Control Panel.

The Control Panel appears.

2Click Appearance and Themes.

3Click Display.

4Select the Settings tab.

5Click Advanced.

6Select the Display Device tab.

7Click the Enable Different Refresh Rate button.

8Click Apply.

Adjusting the quality of the external display

To obtain the best picture quality from your external display

device, you may need to adjust the video settings. See the
