TOSHIBA e-STUDIO28/35/45 Unix Printer Driver

./install –u t:all g:no

runs the setup installation program in un-install and text mode to un- install all print queues.

./install pshakuba s:hakuba p:direct cdepth:8

Runs in GUI mode and initialize the print queue, destination printer and port fields in the user interface. If Background color setting is removed from the Setup resource file, this will use the 8-bit color

depth parameter to choose the background color for the user interface.

Notes on X_QueryColors

In some systems with limited color support, an X_QueryColors runtime error may occur. A message may be something like:

X error of failed request: BadValue(integer parameter out of range for operation

Major opcode of failed request: 91(X_QueryColors)

Value in failed request: 0x806a92 Serial number of failed request:141 Current Serial number in output stream:141

The value of failed request and serial numbers may differ. This is a known problem in Solaris 8 for Intel platform and will be fixed in a future update. If this occurs, perform the installation by running the installation program in Text mode.
