10. The media is now loaded and the sensor position is set.

NOTE: Set the selection switch to the STANDARD/STRIP position. Improper setting can affect the print quality.

Strip type:

1Remove enough labels from the leading edge media to leave 500 mm of backing paper exposed.

2Wind the backing paper onto the take-up spool and fix in position with the take-up clip. (Wind the paper counter clockwise around the spool as this is the direction it rotates.)

3Rotate the take-up spool anti-clockwise a few times to take up any slack in the backing paper.

2.When fitting the tace-up clip the longer side of the clip should be fitted into the shallow groove on the take-up spool.
