6. Storage And Warranty

6.1 Storage

Observe the following points when the MDB-100 interface is not used immediately after purchase or when it is not used for an extended period of time.

•Avoid storing the MDB-100 in places that are hot or humid, or that contain large quantities of dust or metallic dust. Store the MDB-100 in a well-ventilated location.

•When not using the MDB-100 interface for an extended period of time, apply power at least once every two years and confirm that it still functions properly.

6.2 Warranty

The MDB-100 Modbus RTU / ASCII Communications Interface is covered under warranty by ICC for a period of 12 months from the date of installation, but not to exceed 18 months from the date of shipment from the factory.
