When TOSHIBA Accelerometer Utilities is

 

Accelerometer

enabled, you can invoke the Start menu, switch

active windows or launch predefined applications

 

 

by shaking the computer vertically or horizontally,

 

 

or tilting it.

 

 

You can boot TOSHIBA Accelerometer Utilities

 

 

from the menu bar as follows.

 

 

Click start, click All Programs, click TOSHIBA,

 

 

click Tablet PC and Setting of TOSHIBA

screen appears.

 

 

 

 

TOSHIBA Tablet

This utility allows you to logon to the system.

 

Access Code Logon

If a password has been set, a dialog box with a

prompt (e.g. Password=) appears when you turn

 

 

the power on. If the system is in Tablet mode, you

 

 

can enter a password by clicking on keys of the

 

 

soft keyboard with the Tablet PC Pen.

 

 

 

Options

You can add a number of options to make your computer even more powerful and convenient to use. The following options are available:

Memory expansion

A 256, 512 or 1,024 MB memory module (PC2700)

 

can easily be installed in the computer.

 

 

Battery Pack

An additional battery pack can be purchased from

 

your TOSHIBA dealer. Use it as a spare or

 

replacement.

Universal AC Adaptor If you use your computer at more than one site frequently, it may be convenient to purchase an additional AC adaptor for each site so you will not have to carry the adaptor with you.

Battery Charger

The battery charger lets you charge extra

 

batteries outside the computer.

 

 

Security lock

A slot is available to attach a security cable to the

 

computer to deter theft.

 

 

USB FDD Kit

USB floppy disk drive accommodates 1.44-

 

megabyte or 720-kilobyte floppy disk. It connects

 

to a USB port. (You cannot format 720-kilobyte

 

floppy disks on Windows XP, but you can use

 

previously formatted disks.)
