4.8 Cooling Fan 4 Replacement Procedures
Installing the Cooling Fan
To install the cooling fan, follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-10.
CAUTION: Before installing the fan cover, vacuum off dust or dirt on the indentation of
the filter attached to the fan cover.
1. Seat the cooling fan.
2. Secure the cooling fan with the following screws.
• M2.5×6 FLAT HEAD screw ×2
3. Connect the fan cable to PJ9900 on the system board.
4. Place the fan cover and secure it with the following screws.
• M2.5×4 FLAT HEAD screw ×2
5. Place the fin cover and secure it with the following screws.
• M2.5×6 FLAT HEAD screw ×2
