4.21 System Board 4 Replacement Procedures
Installing the System Board
To install the system board, follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-31.
1. Install the key bracket on the left side of the chassis.
2. Set the modem jack and hook the cable under the guides.
3. Seat the system board and plastic holder. When seating the system board, insert the
PC card slot into the chassis first.
4. Secure the plastic board and the system board with the following screws.
• M2.5×6 FLAT HEAD screw ×3
NOTE: When you install the system board, you will need to apply the appropriate
setting for the CPU in use. Please refer to “4.31 Addendum” for this information.
The settings must be applied before you continue with re-assembly.
