3.2Executing the Diagnostic Test

Toshiba MS-DOS is required to run the DIAGNOSTICS PROGRAM. To start the DIAGNOSTIC PROGRAM, follow these steps:

1.Insert the diagnostics diskette #1 in the floppy disk drive and turn on the computer. (The diagnostics diskette contains the MS-DOS boot files.) And then follow the instructions to swap with the diagnostics diskette #2 for T&D program installed in RAM.

NOTE: To execute the CD test, make sure the CD is installed in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.

The T&D Program can run by single test item when you press the corresponding letter of a test item, or run two or more test items what you like if you choose them with “Arrow cursors” and “Space Bar” – You can also set a test loop by pressing the “Enter” button. It will ask you if you want to copy the test log file to diskette as reference when the tests finish.
