Closed caption function

You have two options with the closed caption feature (CC MODE): captions or text.

A caption is a printed version of the dialogue, narration and/or sound effects of a TV program. Text is information not related to the program that appears on half of the TV screen when available.

To set CC MODE

1Press SETUP.

SET UP

The following on-screen display

LANGUAGE : ENGLISH

CC MODE SETUP

V-CHIP SETUP

TV SETUP

TV/CABLE : TV

CH PROGRAM

ADD/ERASE : ADD

To set CC BACK

When you choose the “CC MODE”, you can select back of the text.

1In “CC MODE SETUP” press / and select “CC BACK”.

2Each time you press the ENTER button, the “CC Back” changes.

BLACK: The text screen appears as a block box.

LUCIDITY :Only characters are displayed on the screen.

2Press / to select “CC MODE SETUP”, then press

ENTER.

CC BACK : BLACK

3Each time you press ENTER, the CC MODE changes as follows.

OFF CC1 CC2 TEXT1 TEXT2

You can also set with the CAP/TEXT button.

Each time you press the CAP/TEXT

RANDOM

button, the CAP/TEXT mode changes

as follows.
