. : 2 channel sound

: 3D (N-2-2) sound enhancement can function. (Signals are depressed by down sampling process.)

HDCD sound via the 2CH AUDIO OUT jacks and the 5.1CH SURROUND AUDIO OUT jacks is output in a normal audio CD format when "Analog 6ch" is selected.

Some of multi-channel recorded DVD audio discs may not be permitted 2-channel mix playback. If you play such a disc on this player connecting two speakers, you may obtain only the original left and right channel sound, and may not hear other channels. This is because of the playback restriction of the disc. Refer to instructions of the disc for details. Such discs may include the same contents recorded in stereo. Play it if available, by changing the audio setting.

Signals of 88.2kHz or higher from the BITSTREAM/PCM jack are depressed to 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz by down sampling process when:

-"3D (N-2-2)" is selected. [_

-"PCM Down Sampling" is set to "On." [_ - a copyright protected disc is played.

Quantization bit of signals of 20 bit or higher is 16 bit if they are in a copyright protected disc.

When "3D (N-2-2)" is selected, quantization bit of signals in an HDCD-encoded audio CD is 16 bit.
