Step 5: When the “Safe To Remove Hardware” window appears, the Memory Stick Reader/Writer is ready to be disconnected. Click on “OK”

If this removal procedure is not followed before disconnecting the Memory Stick Reader/Writer, the message “Unsafe Removal of Device” appears.

The Memory Stick Reader/Writer is a driver-free device for Mac OS 9.X & Mac OS X 10.1. You don't have to install a separate driver (for it), and can plug it directly into an available USB port. Mac OS 9.X & Mac OS X 10.1 will detect it and install all the associated files automatically.
