Passthrough access to serial port via Telnet/SSH

Using this option it is possible to connect an arbitrary device to the serial port and access it (assuming it provides terminal support) via Telnet or SSH. Select the appropriate options for the serial port and use the Telnet Console or a stan- dard Telnet/SSH client to connect to the B050-000. For more information about the Telnet interface you may have a look at the Section called Telnet Console.

IPM 220-L (Inline Power Module)

This is an optionally available external module to switch power of a single sys- tem by putting it in the power supply line of the controlled system.

By using the B050-000 IPMI facilities you have an additional way to power on or off the system or to perform a hard reset.
