Extended Applications
You can increase the distance from the HDMI Source to the Display beyond the maximum limit by using a Tripp Lite HDMI Extender (Model: B122-000). Simply insert the B122-000 HDMI Extender between the B119-302-R Switch and the Display, and connect using Tripp Lite P568- Series HDMI cables. (For more information, see the B122-000 HDMI Extender Owner’s Manual) The diagram below shows the preferred set-up for an extended application:

Troubleshooting
If you experience problems with the Audio/Video display from the B119-302-R Switch, try the following steps:
•Make sure you have not exceeded the maximum cable lengths (shown in these instructions). If you’ve exceeded these lengths, use shorter cabling.
•Connect an HDMI cable directly between the source(s) and the display to verify the cable is operating. Repeat to test all cables.
If the source(s) and the display do not work properly:
•Try using a cable that you know to be operational. If this still does not work, then the problem lies with either the source(s) or the display.
If the source(s) and the display are operating properly:
•Test each of the ports on the B119-302-R Switch individually, using the source(s), display and cables that you have just tested and found to work properly. Connect a functioning HDMI cable between the B119-302-R Output Port and a functioning Display. Connect a functioning source and Input Port-1 of the B119-302-R Switch using a functioning HDMI cable. Repeat this step for Input Port-2 of the B119-302-R Switch. If both ports work correctly, the B119-302-R Switch is functioning properly. If one or both ports are not working (or if none of these steps have resolved the problems), contact Tripp Lite Technical Support at +1.773.869.1234.
