Installation and Operation

Troubleshooting

If you experience problems with your B119-303-R switch, try the following remedies:

Connect an HDMI cable directly between the source and the display to verify that the cable is operating. Repeat to test all cables.

Once you confirm that all HDMI cables are functional, use two cables to test the ports on the B119-303-R switch. Plug one cable between the display and the HDMI OUTPUT port on the switch. Plug the second cable between HDMI INPUT 1 and the source. Repeat with HDMI INPUT 2 and INPUT 3, using the same source. If all ports function, the B119-303-R is operating properly. Note: To ensure that both sources and display function properly, the combined cable length should not exceed 16 feet.

If the unit is plugged in and the Power LED is not lit, verify that the power supply is functioning. Use a voltmeter to measure the output of the AC adapter to verify that 9V is present. If output is 9V, the AC adapter is functional and the B119-303-R switch has failed. Note: The positive (+) is in the middle of the plug and the ground (-) is on the exterior of the plug.
