Wiring Instructions
Connecting a PAM-2 to the Output of a Unison® SU6K or SU10K
WARNING: Before connection, make sure that your Unison system is OFF, that both input and output breakers are switched OFF and that the system is not connected to AC power. (See Unison Owner’s Manual.)
•Strip an additional 1” to 2” of the outer (black) casing of the power cord away from the internal colored wires. Neatly shape the exposed metal ends of the four colored wires to eliminate loose strands.
•Slip the strain relief provided over the exposed end of the power cord, then thread the exposed end of the power cord through the knockout nearest the right of the Unison’s terminal block.
•Connect the colored wires to the Unison’s terminal block as shown below. The black cord can be connected for either 240V output or 208V output. Note: the desired output voltage MUST match the Unison’s input voltage. (See Unison Owner’s Manual.)
•Tighten the strain relief and affix it to the knockout.
