CAUTION!

DO NOT connect to an ungrounded outlet. DO NOT use with extension cords or adapters that eliminate the connection to ground. The power strip is designed for indoor use only. Install the power strip away from heat emitting appliances such as radiators or heat registers. Do not install where excessive moisture or other conductive contaminants are present. Never install electrical wiring during a lightning storm.

Installation

1)Connect Your Power Strip to Your AC Power Line

Models PS-615-HG and SPS-615-HG:Plug the power cord into a utility outlet.The power strip’s power cord should only be connected to a standard 3-wire grounded 120V AC 60 Hz outlet.

Model PS-5-INT: Plug a female IEC320 power cord (not included) into both the power strip and a utility outlet.The power cord should only be connected to a grounded 230V AC, 50/60 Hz outlet.

2)Connect AC Equipment to Your Power Strip

Plug the AC power cords of your equipment into your power strip. Do not use extension cords or adapters that eliminate the connection to ground.

DO NOT OVERLOAD your power strip. The PS-615-HG and the SPS-615-HG have a amp rating of 15 amps.The PS-5-INT has a amp rating of 10 amps. Each outlet can handle a load of up to the model’s amp rating, but do not exceed a total load of more than the model’s amp rating for all outlets.

If the circuit breaker trips, outlets will cease to provide power. Reduce the load on the power strip down to your

unit’s amp rating by unplugging excess equipment, then depress the circuit breaker button to reset.

Hospital Grade Plug & Outlets (HG models only)

The PS-615-HG and SPS-615-HG power strips feature hospital grade plugs and outlets,and exhibit less than 100 microamps of leakage to ground.

Surge Suppression (SPS model only)

The SPS-615-HG power strip is also a surge suppressor, providing 300 joules of surge suppression that protect connected devices from surges and spikes on the AC power line.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

The seller warrants this product, if used in accordance with all applicable instructions, to be free from original defects in material and workmanship for its lifetime. If the product should prove defective in material or workmanship within that period, Seller will repair or replace the product, in its sole discretion. Service under this Warranty can only be obtained by your delivering or shipping the product (with all shipping or delivery charges prepaid) to:Tripp Lite, 1111 W. 35th St., Chicago, IL 60609. Seller will pay return shipping charges.The warranties of all TRIPP LITE surge suppressors are null and void if they have been connected to the output of any UPS system. ¡PRECAUCIÓN!

NUNCA conecte el equipo a una toma de corriente sin conexión a tierra. NO LO UTILICE con extensiones o adaptadores que eliminen la conexión a tierra. La barra de contactos está diseñada exclusivamente para uso en interiores. Instale la barra de contactos lejos de dispositivos que emitan calor,como radiadores o registros de calefacción. No lo instale en lugares donde exista exceso de humedad o haya posibilidad de interferencias eléctricas. Nunca instale el cableado durante una tormenta.

Instalación

1) Conecte el cable de contactos a la línea de suministro de corriente alterna

Modelos PS-615-HG y SPS-615-HG: Enchufe el cable de corriente en una toma de energía eléctrica. El cable de corriente de la barra de contactos debe conectarse a una toma estándar de 3 hilos,conectada a tierra,de 120 VCA y 60 Hz.

Modelo PS-5-INT: Enchufe un cable de corriente hembra IEC320 (no incluido) tanto en la barra de contactos como en la toma de electricidad. El cable de corriente sólo debe conectarse a una toma de energía de CA con conexión adecuada a tierra, de 230 V, 50 / 60 Hz.

2) Conecte el equipo eléctrico a la barra de contactos

Enchufe los cables de corriente CA de su equipo a la barra de contactos. No utilice extensiones o adaptadores que eliminen la conexión a tierra.

NUNCA SOBRECARGUE la barra de contactos. Los modelos PS-615-HG y SPS-615-HG tienen una carga nominal de 15 amperios. El modelo PS-5-INT tiene una carga nominal de 10 amperios. Cada contacto soporta una carga de acuerdo a la corriente nominal del modelo; sin embargo, nunca exceda la carga total por encima del valor de la corriente nominal de su modelo para todos los contactos.

Si se activa el "breaker", los contactos dejarán de suministrar corriente. Reduzca la carga en la barra de contactos según el amperaje indicado para la unidad,desenchufando el exceso de equipo,y después oprima el botón del "breaker" para reiniciar el sistema.

Contactos y enchufes de grado hospitalario (únicamente los modelos HG)

Las barras de contactos PS-615-HG y SPS-615-HG tienen contactos y enchufes de grado hospitalario y permiten fugas menores a 100 microamperios hacia la conexión a tierra.

Eliminación de sobretensiones (únicamente los modelos SPS)

La barra de contactos SPS-615-HG también es un supresor de sobretensiones, proporcionando una supresión de sobretensiones de 300 joules que protege los dispositivos conectados de sobretensiones y variaciones repentinas en la línea de suministro de corriente alterna.
