Rack Mount Fixed And Roll-Out Shelves

CLIP NUT INSTALLATION

Clip Nuts provide mounting points for rack mount fixed and roll-out shelves.

Clip nuts have a front or screw side. Consider which way it should face for ease of access to the screw head during component installation. (figure 1)

To remove a clip nut from a mounting angle, insert a flat blade screwdriver or knife under the tab on the front and pry up, freeing the retaining ring from the mounting angle. (figure 2)

1.Select the location at which the shelf will be mounted in the enclosure assembly.

2.Snap one clip nut into the top hole of the selected location.

(note: When mounting a roll-out shelf, insert a 10-32 screw partially into each clip nut.)

If the weight load will exceed 75 lbs. on a roll-out shelf, use four clip nuts and screws in each of the brackets.

It will be necessary to select a four-hole grouping that matches the mounting holes in the brackets. The center two holes will measure 1/2" apart.

Two screws per bracket, one at the front and one at the rear, is sufficient if the weight load will be less than 75 lbs.

3.Measure from the bottom of the Mounting Angle to the top clip nut. Assemble clip nuts onto the three other rails at the measured height.

SRX2, SRX3, SRX4 specifications

Tripp Lite, a reputable name in power management and connectivity solutions, has developed a series of rack enclosures known as the SRX series, which includes models SRX2, SRX3, and SRX4. These enclosures are designed to accommodate critical IT equipment while providing effective cooling, secure storage, and ease of access for maintenance.

The Tripp Lite SRX2 is a versatile and compact rack enclosure that offers 2U of rack space, making it an ideal choice for smaller systems or home office environments. This model features a sturdy construction with high-quality steel and vented panels for improved airflow, ensuring optimal cooling for devices housed within. Its removable side panels allow for easy equipment access, while grounding points provide added safety during operation. Additionally, the SRX2 includes rack-mount brackets, which facilitate seamless installation of servers, switches, and other equipment.

Moving to the SRX3, this model expands on the features of the SRX2 by providing 3U of rack space. The SRX3 includes enhanced thermal management technologies, such as built-in fans that promote air circulation within the enclosure. This is particularly beneficial for high-heat-generating devices. The design also accommodates standard 19-inch rack-mounted equipment, ideal for networking, server storage, or audiovisual gear. Users will appreciate the lockable front and side doors that enhance security and prevent unauthorized access.

The SRX4 takes versatility to the next level with 4U of rack space, making it suitable for more extensive setups or data centers. Its spacious design not only allows for more equipment but also offers additional cable management options, which help maintain a tidy and organized environment. The SRX4’s robust ventilation system is complemented by filters that are easy to clean or replace, ensuring optimal airflow and reducing dust accumulation around sensitive equipment.

All three SRX models boast key characteristics such as a sleek design, compatibility with a range of devices, and modularity for future expansions. They utilize innovative technologies to ensure reliability, security, and durability. Furthermore, Tripp Lite backs these products with competent customer support and a warranty that assures users of their quality. With the SRX series, Tripp Lite continues to provide efficient and reliable solutions for IT infrastructure needs.
