Ce bloc-batterie externe 4U abrite les batteries du système. Plusieurs bloc-batteries peuvent être mis en série pour augmenter la durée de fonctionnement de batterie disponible pour les appareils connectés lors de pannes de courant. 14Connecteurs du bloc-batterie externe : Se servir de ces connecteurs afin de connecter le bloc-batterie au module d'alimentation et de mettre en série autres bloc-batterie externes de Tripp Lite avec le bloc-batterie externe principal pour une durée de fonctionnement prolongée. (La mise en série de bloc-batteries supplémentaires est optionnelle.) Retirer les ferrures de retenue pour avoir accès (le diagramme montre la ferrure supérieure enlevée). Vérifier que le bloc-batterie externe auquel vous le connectez correspond à la tension inscrite à côté du connecteur de batterie. Il peut y avoir de petites étincelles lors de la connexion de la batterie; c'est normal. Ne pas connecter ou déconnecter un bloc-batterie externe pendant que l'onduleur fonctionne sur batterie (le témoin DEL « BATTERY » sera allumé sur le tableau de commandes. Mise en garde : Toujours utiliser les ferrures de retenue du connecteur pour garantir la connexion au bloc-batterie (consulter le chapitre Connexion pour des instructions). Ne pas essayer de faire fonctionner l'onduleur sans les ferrures de retenue du connecteur.
