Installation

Note: Prior to installation, make a copy of your data to avoid any data loss	1
should a mistake be made during the install.

1.Remove the 3.5” chassis from the U258-035 enclosure.

2.Connect the 15-Pin and 7-Pin SATA connectors

to the corresponding SATA ports on the 3.5”
	2
hard drive.

3.Slide the chassis back into the U258-035 enclosure. Secure the chassis to the enclosure using the provided screws.

4. Connect the included USB cable or 7-Pin eSATA
	3
cable from the U258-035 to your computer.

5.Connect the included power supply to the U258-035, and then plug it into an appropriate power source.

6. Turn on the U258-035 using the On/Off rocker

switch on the unit.

LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY

Seller warrants this product, if used in accordance with all applicable instructions, to be free from original defects in material and workmanship for its lifetime. If the product should prove defective in material or workmanship within that period, seller will repair or replace the product, at its sole discretion. Service under this Warranty can only be obtained by your delivering or shipping the product (with all shipping or delivery charges prepaid) to:

Tripp Lite, 1111 W. 35th Street, Chicago, IL 60609. Seller will pay return shipping charges.
