A“tone only” message doesn’t

haveany numeric characters.

Itcould be an unreadable message,

anerror or a preset message that alerts you to check

yourvoice mail.

Unread Message Reminder

Ifyou are using the Auto Reset alert mode (see

Choosingthe Alert Type on page 13), and, you do not

reada message within 3 minutes, the pager sounds

an8-second series of reminder alert tones. This

unreadmessage reminder repeats up to 10 times or

untilyou read that message. If you are using the

Non-stopalert mode, the unread message reminder

alertsounds continuously until you read that

message.

Ifyou use Non-stop, the alert sounds until you

readthe message or your battery runs down.
