If your phone is not performing to your expectations, please try these simple steps

first before calling Uniden customer service-

SUGGESTION

Checkthat thephone linecordconnectorsat bothends are pushed in until they click.

If you havehad a powerfailureor haveunpluggedthe base unit, replacethe handset on the baseunit for two

to five seconds to reset the system.

Youmay haveexceededthe limitof the number of

phones that can be connectedto the same line, at the one time.

The maximumis 3.

Checkthe battery pack connection insidethe battery compartment of the handset.

The handsetrechargableNi-MH batterypackmay need to be charged.

Make sure the chargingcontactson both the handset and the base unit are in contactduring charging.

The chargingcontactsmay need to be cleanedwith an alcohol-moistenedcloth.

The battery pack mayneed to be dischargedfirstbefore a fullchargecan be accomplished.

Make sure the base antenna is vertical.

Move thebase unit so that it is centrallylocatedin your residenceor officeand make sure that the base unit is

not located near appliances.

The handset rechargable battery pack may need charging.

Youmaybe out of normal operatingrange. Movecloser to the base unit.

When storingphonenumers,make surethat the handset

is in the standby position.

When recallingstorednumbers,checkfirst fora dial tone.
