To maintain a good charge, it is important to clean all charging contacts on the Handset and Base Unit about once a month. Use a pencil eraser or other contact cleaner.

NOTE: Most phone systems are Tone Dialing. Check with your local phone company if you are not sure whether your system is Tone or Pulse dialing. The New Zealand model is a Tone only telephone and the Pulse/Tone switch has been disabled.
