3.Press on the Handset or Base Unit to establish 3 Way communications between the two stations and the calling party.

4.Press on the Handset to complete the call transfer to the Base Unit and disconnect the Handset.

Transferring a Call from the Base Unit to the Handset

1.During a call, press on the Base Unit. The call is placed

on hold and the Handset is paged. (If there is no answer, press

or or the line on hold to disconnect and return to the call on hold).

2.At the Handset press or to answer the page. An intercom link has now been established between the Base Unit and the Handset.

3.Press on the Base Unit or Handset to establish 3 way communications between the two stations and the calling party.

4.Press on the Base Unit to complete the call transfer to the Handset and disconnect the Base Unit.

USING THE DX8200 AS A ROOM MONITOR

You may use the DX8200 handset to monitor activity near the Base unit without anyone present at the Base Unit.

To turn Room Monitoring on:

1.Press on the Handset.

2.Press on the Handset. Two-way communications are now set up between the Base Unit and the Handset.

NOTE: Press on the Handset to adjust the earpiece volumes to loud or soft.

To turn monitoring off, press on the handset.
