Message counter (p. 37) Indicate the number of new messages recorded. “A” appears in the announcement only mode. “FL” appears when there is no space to record messages.

TIME/SET button (p. 32, 45)

Press when setting the day and time, or to check the current time.

Also used when setting the remote ID code (security code).

REPEAT/SLOW button

(p. 32, 39)

Press to repeat the current message or go back to the previous message. Keep the button pressed for slow playback of messages.

Dialing keys (p. 17)

EDIT button (p. 21)

Used to store numbers for memory dialing.

8IN USE LED (p. 17, 19, 25) Lights when one of the phones is in use.

9CHARGE LED (p. 11)

Lights while the battery is being charged.

10MIC (microphone) (p. 33, 44)

11TONE button (p. 17, 19)

Allows you to switch temporarily to tone dialing.

12HOLD button (p. 17, 19, 25) Used to hold a call.
