When you hear the phone ring;

•Press TALK

(or any key except OFF ).

or

•Pick up the handset from the base phone when the handset is placed on the base phone.

The TALK/BATT LOW LED on the handset and the IN USE LED on the base phone light up.

CHANNEL	OFF	or replace the handset on

Basics

To	Do this
Put a call on hold	Press	HOLD .
	The TALK/BATT LOW LED flashes slowly.
	Press	TALK to resume the conversation.
Select a better channel	Press	CHANNEL .

Adjust the handset volume Set the VOL switch to H (high), M (middle) or L (low).

Switch to tone dialing	Press	*TONE	while using the telephone after you’re connected.

Switch to another call	Press	FLASH	to access the flash function.

Receiving calls through the speakerphone

When the phone rings, press		*TONE
SPEAKER	on the base phone.	IN USE
The SPEAKER LED and the		LED
IN USE LED light up.
“- -” appears on the display.
To adjust the speaker volume,
press VOL	or VOL .
When you are done talking, press
SPEAKER	again.	HOLD
