Use the
ffllaasshh
button for accessing services such as call waiting. (You must
subscribe to Call Waiting service from your phone company to use this feature.)
If you receive a call during your conversation, press the
ffllaasshh
button on the
handset. Press the
ffllaasshh
button again to return to the previous call.
UUssiinngg tthhee PPaaggee//FFiinndd FFeeaattuurree
The Page/Find f eature sends a signal fr om the base to the handset causing it
to beep. This is useful for locating the handset when it is away from the base.
To use this feature, press
ppaaggee
on the base. The handset beeps for 5 seconds.
(Press and hold the
ppaaggee
button for more than 2 seconds, to get a continuous
beep for a minute.)
If you hold down
ppaaggee
more than a minute, the handset beeps until you
release
ppaaggee
.

during paging, the handset will be placed in the
off-hook (talk) mode.
TTrraavveelliinngg OOuutt ooff RRaannggee
During a call, as you begin to move too far from the base unit, noise increases.
If you pass the range limits of the base, your call will terminat e within 30 seconds.
The paging feature
does not work when
the phone is in use.
When an incoming call
is received during
paging, paging is
canceled and the
telephone is switched
to the incoming call.
