Uniden XSR917/918 Using the Radio

INSTALLATION

Toturn ON the radio, move the slide switch to the 'on' position.

Selectmodulation by pressing

Searchfor the desired station frequency by pressing Channel or

Youcan automatically search for the next available station frequency by pressing Channel or

for1 second.

Press tosearchfor a higher frequency and to search for a lower frequency.

Theradio's volume can be adjusted using the Volume knob on the side of the base.

ForRadio Reception;

AMRadio: The AM antenna is built into the main

base,simply rotate the base for clearest reception.

FMRadio: The FM Antenna is the thin wire located at

therear of the main base. Unwind the antenna wire.

Keepthe antenna wire straight and adjust the position

forclearest reception.

!Toturn OFF the radio, move the slide switch to the

'off'position.
