BRICK INSTALLATION

(PRE-INSTALLED AT FACTORY)

NOTE: Prior to operation, be sure to remove brick retaining strips.

MODEL 1600 - (6) BRICKS ON EACH SIDE

FIREBOX LEFT SIDE

BRICK RETAINING STRIP

SLIDE 4th BRICK BACK

BEFORE INSTALLING 5th

AND 6th BRICK

MODEL 1800 - (8) BRICKS ON EACH SIDE

SMOKE CHAMBER:

1.Place #1 firebrick in the back of smoke chamber.

2.Slide baffle plate into smoke chamber, flat side down.

3.Place remaining firebrick in smoke chamber as numbered below. (in placing the firebrick in the smoke chamber, lift the left side of firebrick first and drop into place.) See Illustrations below.

FIREBOX:

The firebrick must be inserted on each side resting on the grate frame. First, place cut brick in each back corner. Place remaining brick in place.
