The Search Method
If your device does not respond to the TOTAL CONTROL after you have tried all the codes listed for your brand, try the Search Method. The Search Method may also work if your brand is not listed at all.
Example: to search for your Television code:
1Switch your Television on (not on standby).
2Press the TV key on your TOTAL CONTROL.
3Aim the TOTAL CONTROL at your Television. Press and hold down the SET key until the red light on the TOTAL CONTROL blinks twice.

5Now alternate between the TV and POWER key,
over and over, until your Television turns off. | TV |

6When your Television switches off, press the SET key to store the code. Don’t forget, as soon as your Television switches off, press the SET key. Now, your TOTAL CONTROL should be ready to control your television.

-If you cannot control your Television properly, please continue the Search Method, you may be using the wrong code.
-To search for your other devices, follow the same instructions above, only press the appropriate device key during step 2 and 5.
-If your Video’s original remote control does not have a POWER key, press PLAY instead of POWER when searching for your code.
